California Delta - CHAMBERS & VISITORS BUREAU

- California Delta Chambers & Visitors Bureau is an organization of chambers of commerce, visitors bureaus, businesses and boosters in the vast Sacramento San Joaquin Delta area (aka, the California Delta), striving to enhance the enjoyment for visitors to this unique 1,000-mile waterway labyrinth, while at the same time toiling to protect and preserve the area's fragile beauty. Our organization was established more than a quarter-century ago. Many of us first came here on holiday or vacation, fell in love with this boating and fishing paradise, and later established our roots here. Some of us first experienced this profuse waterways on a rental houseboat, or on a fishing charter for sturgeon or striped bass; others of us rolled in on RVs and liked the area's hospitality.

Lake Erie Marine Trades Association

- LEMTA is a trade association of more than 100 recreational boat dealers, marina operators and pleasure boat service companies located across northern Ohio. It isn't often that a trade organization, most-often formed to protect the interest of its members, also plays the key role in looking out for the consumer. But that's what makes LEMTA a unique association. LEMTA's varied programs provide benefits to everyone concerned with or enjoying recreational boating in Ohio -- manufacturers, dealers, marinas, clubs, and boat owners. Formed more than 40 years ago, LEMTA is recognized as the leading spokesman for Ohio boating, dedicated to improving all aspects of this family sport. The Association is addressing, through local, state and national programs, issues such as improved public dockage, increased launching ramp access, greater fishing opportunities, improved water quality and increased industry service and professionalism. LEMTA is also present in Columbus, ever watchful for proposed legislation and/or regulatory actions which could adversely effect the boating lifestyle enjoyed by millions of Ohioans each year.

Marina Recreation Association

- The Marina Recreation Association was created more than thirty years ago by a group of marina operators that recognized the importance of a broad-based, forward-thinking group of operators. It was originally organized to provide a presence at the state legislative level to influence legislation and to introduce legislation that would enhance and protect the marina industry and the boaters that it serves. MRA continues to understand that important mission but it has also expanded to fill a much broader roll. MRA now provides significant educational programs for the marina owner and training opportunities for their management staff. Annually the MRA Educational Conference is held in various locations, rotating from Southern California to Northern California making training and networking convenient and affordable for everyone. The relationships created at these conferences continues to pay dividends throughout the years as these colleagues can be called on to assist with problems as they occur.

Marine Industries Association of South Florida

- The MIASF is a not-for-profit leadership organization created to promote and protect the sound growth of the marine industry in south Florida for the benefit and education of its members, the community and the environment.

Marine Career Training Institute of North America

Marine Career Training Institute of North America (MCTINA)

- The Marine Career Training Institute of North America (MCTINA) is the non-profit education division of the Association of Marine Technicians (AMTECH). MCTINA offers technical training for all areas of marine service. These training programs are ideal for incumbent workers, requiring update training on specific systems, who cannot attend full-time training schools. MCTINA provides the prerequisite systems training that augments manufacturer product-specific training programs. N090322
