Yacht Broker's License

Florida Division of Land Sales, Condominiums and Mobile Homes - Yacht and Ship Brokers - The Yacht and Ship Broker's Act provides jurisdiction over brokers and salesman of certain vessels in the state. These persons are licensed and regulated by the Section of General Regulation, a subunit of the Division of Florida Land Sales, Condominiums and Mobile Homes. In effect since October of 1988, the primary focus of the regulation is consumer protection. The Section processes licenses and responds to consumer complaints and inquiries concerning activities within the industry.
